Personal Fitness Training

Pregnancy or after the birth personal fitness training:


Can't make it to one of the many BABY & ME FITNESS classes? Expecting twins? Your doctor has put you on bed rest? Want to get back to your pre-pregnancy shape and weight? Want to improve your energy level, muscle tone, flexibility and strength?

Consider a personal training program created especially for you by BABY & ME FITNESS prenatal and postnatal fitness experts who have over 20 years of fitness experience in the Toronto childbirthing community. Thousands of women have gone through our fitness programs and courses.

We will design a unique fitness/yoga/pilates program to meet your specific needs and fitness objectives during your pregnancy or postpartum period. Personal training sessions are scheduled at your convenience and in any location (home, office, gym).

A pregnant woman owes it to herself to prepare her body for the challenges of pregnancy, labour and birth by exercising. Studies and research show that the benefits of exercising during pregnancy include limited weight gain, less physical discomfort, more energy, easier, shorter, and a less complicated labour. A fitness program will help a pregnant woman maintain or improve her fitness level and avoid varicose veins, low-back pain, gestational diabetes and pregnancy-related high blood pressure.

After the birth a new mother owes it to herself to begin exercising as soon as she feels ready. Studies and research show the benefits of exercising in the postpartum period include increased energy level, muscle tone, flexibility and strength, improved cardiovascular, respiratory and circulatory systems, lower percentage of body fat, faster recovery and faster return to pre-pregnancy weight.

Pre/postnatal fitness personal training fees, 60-minute session:
single session: $65
5 sessions: $300
10 sessions $550

Pre/postnatal fitness semi-private fees - workout with a friend:
single session: $112
5 sessions: $525
10 sessions: $1,000

Personal Training policies:
Cancellation: 24-hour notice is required. Session packages: must be used within 6 months of purchase.
Refunds: no refunds on deposits or full payment as spots and appointments are held and could otherwise have been offered to another individual.
